Asbestos is a mineral fiber that can be found in many different building materials. It was used widely throughout the united states before we learned its harmful health risks. Asbestos fibers aren’t visible to the naked eye so sampling of the materials in question must be analyzed and an asbestos survey performed by a certified industrial hygienist.
Once the asbestos materials are assessed Rock emergency will work with the hygienist and go through the survey to come up with the most effective and efficient plan of removal. Rock will follow allow codes, rules, and regulations in accordance with New York State law. The plan will also provide details as to exactly what services will be performed and a time frame of the start and completion date. Specialized demolition is one of Rocks specialties and we pride ourselves on our ability to get these jobs done quickly, efficiently, and above all safely.
*By Law Any Contractor testing or removing asbestos in the State of New York must be licensed by the Department of Labor, and follow the specific guidelines of Code Rule 56.
